Marine Research, Sampling and Surveying

This workshop will give you the opportunity to undertake marine or geographical research topics. You will design and develop an experiment, creating a hypothesis to explore as well as your own methods. You will pilot their investigation, collect data, and begin to analyse and draw conclusions based upon what you have found.

Alternatively this workshop can be used to demonstrate and practise a variety survey methods such as quadrats, transects, random sampling, abiotic measurements etc. to introduce you to practical field work skills.

We will happily adapt and modify workshops to suit your requirements.
