Seabirdwatch - Zooniverse

This is the perfect project for anyone who struggles to access the coast, or for those who simply prefer to contribute to marine conservation from the cosy indoors. Seabirdwatch is an online citizen science project, where participants can turn photographs into important data by carefully counting seabirds and their chicks.

Seabirdwatch is hosted on Zooniverse, world’s largest and most popular platform for people-powered research. Find out more about how you can get involved with this project and many more by following the link below.

Sea Watch

Sea Watch is a national marine environmental charity working to improve the conservation of whales, dolphins and porpoises in the seas around Britain and Ireland.

By monitoring whales and dolphins we can gain valuable knowledge of the health of our marine environment and insight into the effects of chemical pollution, noise disturbance, over-fishing, accidental capture in fishing gear, and climate change. Find out more about the Sea Watch Foundation and how you can get involved in monitoring cetaceans!
