Say No To Berwick Bank Wind Farm
Take action now. Please ask Gillian Martin (Acting Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Energy) to say no to Berwick Bank and get behind nature positive offshore wind instead.
Offshore wind could play a big role in tackling the climate crisis and building a clean, green industry in Scotland. But it must be developed in harmony with nature.
Berwick Bank is a development proposed in the outer Firth of Forth, which is home to internationally important populations of seabirds during the summer months. If this development is consented, it is predicted to kill tens of thousands of seabirds, including gannets, kittiwakes and puffins. It’s simply the wrong place for an offshore wind farm. We believe that the Scottish Government should say no to Berwick Bank and get behind offshore wind developments that are well-sited and could have a positive impact on nature instead.
