Marine Fest: Wildlife & Conservation on our Local Islands (Talk & Film)

Come and join for a talk delving into the wonderful world of wildlife on our local islands: The Lamb, Craigleith, and Bass Rock. Discover why these places are so important for seabirds during the summer months, and learn more about the other wild animals that call these islands home throughout the year. Find out what it's like to work on the islands and discover more about the important efforts being made to protect and preserve these special places. The talk will finish with a showing of our new short film 'SOS Puffin'.

This in-person talk will be delivered by Emily, our Conservation Manager, and is part of our MarineFest programme. It is perfect for nature enthusiasts, conservationists, and anyone curious about the incredible wildlife on our local islands.

This talk is £3 or free for Scottish Seabird Centre members (please bring your membership card on the day) Spaces are limited, so if you book a ticket but can no longer attend, please let us know so that we can offer your space to someone else.

The talk will take place in the Theatre in the Discovery Experience, which is wheelchair accessible. If you have other accessibility requirements, please let us know and we'll do our best to help. You can email Emily at emilyb@seabird.org.
