Live Science Show: Animal Avengers
Taking inspiration from a whole host of superheroes, Eggehad will show audiences how animals can defend themselves from attack in weird and wonderful ways. From exploding ants, squirting octopi to spitting birds , you can decide who is the best animal avenger!

New for 2023! Professor Egghead has some great new gadgets and toys but no battereries! He needs some clean power from renewables and perhaps using turbines and tides or turning sun in to fun might just work? Come along and find out - laughs and learning guaranteed!

Puppet Show - What's for Snack
What’s for Snack? is an interactive live puppet show with Craig the Crab. Craig has eaten some marine litter by mistake and is not feeling very well. He'll be joined by some of his seaside friends who, along with our audience, will try to help him get rid of his sore tummy. This is a fun, informal show aimed at young children age 2+.
This puppet show introduces children to different kinds of marine animals and some of the challenges they face out in the ocean.

Storytelling
Bring your kids along for an hour of escapism, with a series of wonderful marine-themed stories. Let our Discovery Experience staff transport you to the underwater worlds of a few of our favourite marine-themed short stories.This relaxed event is aimed at pre-school children and their parents and carers. The event runs for one hour but is designed to be 'drop-in' and informal. Stay for one story or stay to hear them all - it's up to you! This event is suitable for pre-school children and an accompanying adult and is free of charge - spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Please book 1 ticket per person (not per household group).
