Marine Fest - Sustainable Seafood Supper

Join us to sample some delicious, low-impact seafood at this sustainable seafood supper.

Chef Grant Reekie will curate and cook a menu that explores some of Scotland's most sustainable seafood, accompanied by an informal discussion from the team at marine sustainability Charity Open Seas. Glasgow-based Grant runs @thatsyerdinner focusing on the best available fished, farmed or foraged Scottish ingredients.

Menu for the evening:

  • Barbecued Oysters
  • Shellfish Cullen Skink
  • Mackerel with seaweed and potatoes
  • Ice cream with sea buckthorn

This event will take place in the Scottish Seabird Centre cafe, where you can enjoy the stunning views out over the Bass Rock.

Open Seas is a Scottish marine sustainability charity undertaking research, investigations and campaigns to recover the health of Scotland’s seas and champion more sustainable seafood.

This event will take place in the Scottish Seabird Centre cafe in shared table seating. The cafe bar will be open for drinks on the evening.
