Marine Fest - Island Life: Wildlife & Conservation on Our Local Islands

Come and join us for a 45 minute talk to delve into the wonderful wildlife on our local islands: The Lamb, Craigleith, and Bass Rock. Discover why these places are so important for seabirds during the summer months, and learn more about the other wild animals that call these islands home throughout the year. Find out what it's like to work on the islands and discover more about the important efforts being made to protect and preserve these special places.

This in-person talk will be delivered by Emily, our Conservation Officer, and is part of our MarineFest programme on World Oceans day. It is perfect for nature enthusiasts, conservationists, and anyone curious about the incredible wildlife on our local islands.

This talk is free and spaces are limited, so if you book a ticket but can no longer attend, please let us know so that we can offer your space to someone else. We would be very grateful for donations on the day, which will go towards supporting our conservation and education work.

The talk will take place in our Learning Hub, which is wheelchair accessible. If you have other accessibility requirements, please let us know and we'll do our best to help. You can email Emily at conservationprojects@seabird.org.
