Marine Fest: In Conversation with Miranda Krestovnikoff

Join TV presenter, wildlife expert and diver Miranda Krestovnikoff for a discussion on the wonders of the marine environment. As an experienced diver, Miranda will discuss the experiences which have brought her closer to nature.

Miranda Krestovnikoff is a TV presenter, wildlife expert, biologist and trained diver with an extensive knowledge of archaelogy, history, wildlife, diving, conservation and environmental issues. She can be seen regularly on TV presenting natural history stories on BBC’s The One Show, Inside Out and Coast, among others.

Miranda has also presented history and archaeological programmes including the Channel 4 series Wreck Detectives, BBC Two series Hidden Treasure and the UKTV History production Time Trail. Her radio contributions include BBC Radio 4’s Costing the Earth and Living World. She writes regularly for national newspapers and is the author of three books.

Miranda is currently the Vice-President of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, Patron of Whale and Dolphin Conservation, Patron of Alderney Wildlife Trust, and an ambassador for Wildstream TV. She also works closely with charities including The National Trust, The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, The Marine Conservation Society and Sustrans.

This event is part of Marine Fest 2023 a five-day programme of events, exhibitions and workshops that will run from 8th – 12th June, inviting visitors of all ages to get closer to nature and consider how we can best protect our seas in the future.
