Wildlife Boat Trips

We offer a fantastic range of boat trips around the islands in the Firth of Forth, including the incredible Bass Rock gannet colony (featured in BBC1's Wild Isles). Trips run from late March to early October. Look out for different seabirds and marine wildlife throughout the spring and summer season. Please note that WATERPROOFS ARE NOT PROVIDED for any of our trips, even on a warm sunny day it can be cold out on the water, please bring your own waterproofs and make sure you have warm clothing for your trip.

Bass Rock Experience

Wildlife wonder the Bass Rock is home to the largest Northern gannet colony in the world. Our exclusive landing trips are an unforgettable wildlife experience for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts. Boat trips for 2024 have been suspended due to storm damage to the island's pathways and landing site in winter 2023. Repair work will resume in autumn 2024 and we plan to run trips again in 2025.
