The Scottish Seabird Centre is an independent charity and depends on donations and sponsorships to support its education and conservation programmes. Adopting an animal is a wonderful way to enjoy the Centre and help to support its work. You can choose from a puffin, a seal pup or a Bass Rock gannet family.

It also makes the perfect gift which can be enjoyed throughout the year, watching the puffins, seals and gannets on our live webcams. The Scottish Seabird Centre is a charity dedicated to inspiring people to appreciate and care for wildlife and the natural environment. Proceeds from animal adoptions for the Seabird Centre go towards the work of the charity. (Charity no SCO 25837) For example, the Seabird Centre is leading the SOS Puffin project which, with the help of over 250 volunteers is helping the struggling puffin colonies on two islands in the Firth of Forth.
