Exciting new schools outreach programme delivered directly to your classroom!

Our Dynamic Earth has joined forces with the Scottish Seabird Centre to create an exciting and innovative educational opportunity for schools across Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Borders.

Our new outreach programme, supported by the Scottish Executive, combines the unique interactive educational activities offered by both science centres. We offer multi-sensory workshops which bring the curriculum to life, and provide memorable educational experiences that will inspire pupils’ imaginations and stimulate their curiosity to understand more about Scotland’s amazing natural heritage. Our cross-curricular workshops focus on themes including climate change, sustainability, landscape evolution and marine wildlife.

As the dedicated Schools Communicator, I would be delighted to make a visit to your school and deliver as many workshops as you’d like in one day! All you need to do is let me know what you require, as I am happy to tailor the workshops to meet the specific needs of your pupils.
