Walking and cycling

The Scottish Seabird Centre is easily accessible and forms part of the John Muir Way; view downloadable maps of the route. There are bike racks at the Centre and the North Berwick train is specially equipped with additional bike storage.

By train

With a direct and frequent service from Edinburgh with First ScotRail, getting the train to North Berwick is easy. It's a very pleasant and scenic 30 minute journey through countryside and coastline and the Centre is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the station. Follow the signs, keeping the sea on your left hand side. Here are a couple of local taxi companies who collect passengers from the station, should you require them: Jim's Taxis - 01620 894900 and A2B Taxis 01620 895000.
