A light and airy building with panoramic 360 degree views, your guests can enjoy dinner by candlelight and cocktails on the open deck. It's the perfect venue for weddings, corporate functions, launch events, photoshoots, business meetings and private parties, including children's Puffin Parties, with its wonderful vistas over the sea and beaches. There is also the opportunity for outdoor functions and additional space can be created with marquees. We are also licensed for marriages to take place in the Centre and there are wonderful photo opportunities in the surrounding area, including the historic Auld Kirk and Anchor Green, ancient harbour and attractive sandy beaches.
We offer training away days, small conferences and events with half day or day delegate packages and a menu of add-on activities and events can also be incorporated, such as wildlife sightseeing trips around the islands, fishing trips, ranger led activites and team building ideas. We can also help with accommodation for your guests or delegates. The Centre is available for evening hire from 1900 hrs (summer) and 1700 hrs (winter), as well as day hire on certain weekdays during our off-peak season. Entrance Level

Designed in the shape of a bird's wing, the exterior of the Centre is clad in local stone, while the interior is light and airy with extensive use of natural beech and larch wood. It enjoys panoramic views over the sea, beaches and islands of the Firth of Forth and includes an open decking area over the sea, ideal for summer cocktail evenings.
Discovery Centre and Wildlife Cinema
The Discovery Centre, on the lower level, is 227 sqm and offers an unusual venue for informal drinks receptions. The area is themed with attractive banners and wall hangings relating to seabirds and marine wildlife. There are also state-of-the-art plasma screens and interactives.
The Discovery Centre is accessed via one of two staircases or a lift. The Wildlife Theatre, a 53-seater auditorium, is adjacent to the Discovery Centre and can be used for corporate presentations, film screenings and talks. The Theatre is 47.5 sqm with state-of-the-art presentation equipment, including DVD and projection facilities. The seats are laid
out in seven rows with tiered seating.

The Centre offers a wide range of catering to suit every taste and occasion - and budget. We also have a competitively priced wine list and full licence.
Organised Tours/ Talks
A tour of the Centre, or wildlife talk by one of our experienced guides can be arranged on request and can be tailored to meet your group's requirements. The tour includes fascinating footage of seabirds in the Wildlife Theatre, a multimedia presentation of gannets in the wild incredible "Big Brother" live cameras that you can control to view wildlife close up on giant screens.

Guidelines for Corporate Hospitality
Site Visits
We recommend all clients schedule a site visit to the Scottish Seabird Centre at least three weeks prior to an event.
Parking Facilities
The Scottish Seabird Centre's car park is within five minutes walk of the Centre and is available for the exclusive use of our corporate clients. Parking is also available at a number of car parks in the in the town centre.
A coach drop off point is located at the junction of Melbourne Road and Victoria Road. Coaches should then follow directions to the designated coach park.
Disabled Access
The entire Centre is fully accessible by wheelchair and the Centre has a wheelchair available for people with mobility difficulties.
Facilities
Toilets and public telephone are located on Entrance Level.
Our fees are subject to VAT and there may be a supplement for weekend and Bank Holiday hire of the venue.
