Renewable energy – the Scottish Seabird Centre now produces some of its own electricity with a wind turbine. Come and learn about renewable energy and make you own replica turbine in this hands-on workshop.
CPD
Making the most of a visit to the Scottish Seabird Centre – half day CPD events for primary teachers. These afternoon session includes a tour of the Discovery Centre, an overview of the resources available and a take-home art activity. See the noticeboard for dates.

We’re pleased to offer a free familiarisation visit to the Centre to help you plan your visit.
Make a day of It!
We can arrange whole day bookings in partnership with other local education providers. For instance, spend the morning at the Scottish Seabird Centre then use the afternoon to explore the seashore in a rockpool ramble or find out about the conservationist John Muir at John Muir’s Birthplace in Dunbar. Contact the Education Officer for more details.
