

The Scottish Seabird Centre has achieved VisitScotland's 5 Stars for excellence and has won 25 awards for sustainable tourism, customer service, wildlife, innovation and design, including the Green Tourism Gold Award and the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise. A selection is listed below:
The Scottish Seabird Centre is very proud to have won a Green Tourism Gold Award. This award recognises the importance of businesses being environmentally friendly and encourage the development of sustainable tourism industry.
Three ticks demonstrates we have an environmental policy, we are committed to complying with applicable legislation, we review our suppliers, we regularly review our environmental action plan, we engage staff on environmental issues andwe have an environmental management system in place. Pictured opposite are the Seabird Centre's staff and volunteers celebrating winning the prestigious accolade of the Queen's Award for Enterprise in 2004 and was won again in 2009.
